The new outlet in Viet Tri City spreads over 3,700sq.m and took an investment of VND65 billion (US$2.79 million).
It stocks more than 30,000 items, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
Like all Co.opmart outlets, it sells price-stabilised goods and will act as a conduit for goods and speciality products from Viet Tri and the province to enter the Co.opmart network.
At the opening, Co.opmart donated VND50 million to the Viet Tri Fatherland Front and gave gifts worth VND22 million to poor households in the local ward.
Also to mark its opening, the store has launched promotions until November 23, with discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items and hundreds of attractive gifts to shoppers.
Customers with a bill worth at least VND300,000 can win attractive lucky draw prizes like a Honda SHMode 2018 scooter, LG 626L fridge, Samsung 8.5kg washing machine, Midea infrared cooker and others. — VNS
