Owe Water, a socially-driven company established by the French non-profit organisation 1001fontaines, announced that with the goal of reaching 7 million vulnerable people by 2030, the company strives to be the preferred drinking water provider for families in HCM City and its surrounding areas.

The company has launched a new product, Owe+, aiming at expanding and strengthening its social impact, reaching an increasing number of vulnerable communities year after year.

Owe+ is a mineralised water that combines a healthy formula and great taste with a meaningful social impact.

Francis Phan, Owe general manager Vietnam, said: "Our primary goal with the launch of Owe+ is to push our social mission even further and provide affordable, high-quality water to vulnerable communities, while also offering our supporters a premium, mineralised water that enhances both their family’s health and wellbeing. When people choose Owe+, they are not just making a healthy choice for themselves - they are actively contributing to positive change within society. They do a personal choice that can contribute to a collective benefit."

The company confirmed that with every bottle of Owe+ sold, Owe Water upholds the "Buy One, Give One" pledge, providing free clean water to vulnerable populations, including disadvantaged schools, orphanages, and those supported by People’s Committees in the areas where the company operates.

This initiative also ensures that Owe purified water remains accessible at a subsidised price of VNĐ25,000 (US$1), compared to an unsubsidised market price of VNĐ45,000 ($1,7), making international-quality water affordable for vulnerable communities and ensuring that every Vietnamese family can access safe drinking water.

Over the past two decades, Việt Nam's economic growth has significantly reduced poverty and improved access to basic water services. However, the country still faces increasing challenges when it comes to drinking water quality.

Since its establishment in 2019 by the French NGO 1001fontaines, Owe Water has been dedicated to providing families with daily access to clean, purified water for better health.

On the occasion of Owe+'s launch, Owe Water offers a limited special offer until the end of November.

When consumers purchase one bottle of Owe+, they will not only provide a free bottle of Owe purified water to those in need - the standard commitment of Owe Water - but they will also receive an additional free bottle of Owe+ to enjoy with their family with a limit of two bottles per household. — VNS
