Online Fever gains huge success

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Zalora Viet Nam, the country's leading online fashion destination, has announced that its Online Fever programme has been "a huge success".

Jose Finch, country managing director of Zalora Viet Nam, said the success was not only for Zalora but also for its partners in the country and region.

The sales of Zalora Viet Nam on December 12 increased 20 times over a normal business day.

The four-day event saw rapid growth in first-time users, with the total number of visitors rising by 200 per cent compared with normal days.

Visitors to www.zalora.vn on December 12 exceeded 1 million.

The Online Fever programme in eight markets of the Zalora Group - Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Viet Nam, Hong Kong, and Taiwan - gained growth 2 times that of last year's programme, and 6 times that of a normal day.

 

Initiated by Zalora in 2014, Online Fever is an annual cyberevent aimed to increase online sales and position on December 12, known as the region's new Cyber Monday.

In Viet Nam this year, the biggest year-end sales campaign Online Fever was held from December 9-12 with the participation of over 50 e-commerce and retail partners. — VNS
