NutiFood Nutrition Food JSC has signed up Greg Norman, a legendary golfer and Viet Nam’s Tourism Ambassador for 2018-21 to globally promote its coffee products and Vietnamese coffee culture.
Under an agreement they signed, they will establish a joint venture named Greg Norman and NutiFood in the US in the next three to six months.
NutiFood will be responsible for research into and production and distribution of coffee products while Norman will allow the joint venture to use his brand name, images and logos with his name on NutiFood’s coffee products.
The joint venture will open a chain of coffee stores, where customers can enjoy typical Vietnamese iced milk coffee, in Viet Nam and Asia first and expand later to the US.
Norman said he has enjoyed NutiCafé, been introduced to Viet Nam’s special coffee culture and visited the NUTICADA coffee plantation in Dak Lak Province, where NutiFood makes its coffee products.
“The quality of Vietnamese coffee is extremely good. I drink coffee every day of my life.
“So I'm extremely proud on many fronts to represent Viet Nam as ambassador for tourism and now partner to represent NutiFood on the global front.”
Norman will also introduce the company’s NutiCafé at his restaurant chains and golf courses and to his business partners.
Tran Thanh Hai, chairman of NutiFood, said: “Taking the Vietnamese coffee culture to the world and helping Vietnamese coffee achieve a new value are our burning desire.
“Luckily we met Greg Norman, a legend. We have the same point of view: that we want to bring Vietnamese culture, including Vietnamese milk coffee, to the world.
“I am confident our coffee products, associated now with the Greg Norman brand, will have many opportunities to reach out to the world.”— VNS
