Nguyen Hoang Group plans to award 1,000 scholarships to 50 leading schools and universities in the US, UK, Australia, Korea and other countries to Vietnamese students this year.

They will be given to high school, pre-university, university, and post-graduate students.

High school and pre-university students, for instance, will get scholarships ranging from 60 per cent to 100 per cent for studying in 15 schools in the US and UK.

For undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the scholarships range from 50 per cent to 100 per cent. Besides that, there are also accommodation scholarships.

NHG has been running the scholarships programme for many years and has this year expanded it in terms of the number and value of scholarships.

In addition to the programme, every year NHG also spends VND30 billion (US$1.29 million) on scholarships for talented students with excellent achievements in academics, sports, arts, and other fields, as well as those with special needs. — VNS
