Nguyen Kim, the electronic retailing giant, on Tuesday in HCM City said it would become the sole retailer distributing a new made-in-Japan laptop, Fujitsu UH-X, in the Vietnamese market.
The launch of this new product, which was organised in HCM City, is part of programmes that Nguyen Kim and Fujitsu have created to encourage Vietnamese consumers to use Japanese products.
Fujitsu UH-X is the lightest laptop in Viet Nam, with weight of 749 grammes. It is 15.5mm thin and is optimised for mobility to appeal to the needs of today’s working professionals, focusing on the value-driven needs of mobile professionals today.
The device is also fitted with innovative features and functions to enhance the user experience.
Having passed rigorous tests including a drop and pressure test, the UH-X is built to last, providing for a reliable work device.
The new laptop comes to the Vietnamese market with two versions, using Intel Core i5 and Core i7.
It has a two-year on-site guarantee for customers buying the product.
Nguyen Kim said that many promotion programmes are being offered for the first customers buying the laptop.
Nguyen Kim is a giant electronic retailer in the country and ICT products account for around 20 per cent of their sales. Laptops sold at the retailer are mostly premium products worth VND18 million and up. — VNS
