Thai-owned electronics retailer Nguyen Kim has donated equipment to hospitals in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province to support their hospital cleansing plan and gifted laptops to disadvantaged students.
It presented 10 air purifiers and five large-screen TVs to the Tien Son field hospital in Da Nang and 60 refrigeration and other appliances to the Quang Nam Central General Hospital.
Its leaders had discussed the requirements with the two hospitals to identify the daily needs of doctors and patients there.
Nguyen Kim, a member of Central Retail in Viet Nam, has also carried out the first phase of a programme to donate 200 laptops worth more than VND2 billion ($85,666) to disadvantaged students across the country.
Nguyen Kim is implementing the programme in collaboration with partners like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, and Samsung.
Last week its representatives handed over 30 laptops worth a total VND375 million ($16,062) through the Da Nang University of Economics to disadvantaged students.
