New Zealand's deer and sheep milk products introduced

Pamu deer milk and Spring Sheep sheep milk two quality dairy products from New Zealand were introduced at an event held in the capital city on Wednesday. 

Co-organised by the Consulate General of New Zealand and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) in Việt Nam, the event "Convergence of Quintessence in the Digital Economic Era" aimed to facilitate the distribution of Pamu deer milk and Spring Sheep sheep milk to Vietnamese consumers through the rapidly evolving TikTok platform.

"New Zealand is a land rich in the production of high-quality food items. Our agricultural products are fresh, nutritious, and cultivated through smart farming practices," said Scott Jame, the Consul General and Trade Commissioner of New Zealand in Việt Nam. 

"Pamu Landcorp's products, such as Pamu deer milk and Spring Sheep sheep milk, exemplify our strengths as pioneers worldwide, producing deer milk through modern technology while ensuring absolute quality and safety for consumers' health," he said. 

Pamu Landcorp, a government-owned company in New Zealand, has no capital from foreign countries or other private companies. The company has more than 130 years of building and developing with the goal of bringing the best products for consumers' health.

The Consul General said he believed that with the quality of Pamu deer milk and Spring Sheep sheep milk, New Zealand's national pride, with the support from TikTok Vietnam, a leading e-commerce trendsetter, these products would gain the trust and endorsement of the Vietnamese people.

Phạm Trung Thiên, CEO of Ciels Group Co, which is the exclusive importer and distributor of Pamu Landcorp's dairy products in Việt Nam, said his company started distributing Pamu deer milk in August 2022 and Spring Sheep sheep milk in July 2023. 

The two dairy products have been welcomed by Vietnamese customers and the percentage of customers repurchasing reached 80 per cent, Thiên told Việt Nam News. 

Thanks to the positive response from local customers, his firm recorded steady revenue growth, he said, adding that he expected higher revenue growth for the products next year. 

In the future, Thiên said his company would cooperate with TikTok Vietnam to support its distributors in selling these two dairy products via the e-commerce platform. To date, the firm has 100 distributors nationwide.  — VNS
