A Co.opmart supermarket outlet opened on January 19 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province’s Phu My town, its 95th store around the country.
Co.opmart Tan Thanh has a total area of over 4,000sq.m and cost VND71 billion (US$3.12 million) to set up.
It stocks more than 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and household utensils, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
Like all other Co.opmart outlets, it sells price-stabilised goods and also acts as a bridge for the province’s specialties and other products to enter the Co.opmart chain.
To mark its opening, the new supermarket is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items until January 28.
Besides, customers with bills worth at least VNĐ300,000 can win prizes such as Honda Air Blade scooter, Iphone X, Samsung TV 32” and others in a lucky draw.— VNS
