Nestle Vietnam has recently donated nutritional food and drink to support central provinces hit by floods and landslides.
Besides products worth VND2.1 billion ($91,300), the firm’s employees contributed VND700 million in cash to help the victims of the floods.
The donations were handed over to the Viet Nam Women’s Union to be transferred to flood-hit areas in the provinces of Quang Tri, Quang Binh and Ha Tinh.
The firm has also donated a relief package of MILO, MAGGI and other brands to people and rescue teams in provinces severely affected by natural disasters in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Tri through Lao Dong newspaper.
La Vie donated 100,000 litres of natural mineral water worth VND700 million through its partners to aid affected provinces.
Since early this year, Nestle Vietnam has contributed nearly VND40 billion in products and cash to help fight COVID-19 in Viet Nam. — VNS
