Under the agreement, Nestle will support the city in sport movements and provide schools with sports equipment in an aim to promote an active lifestyle and the practice of sports, especially for children aged 6-17.

The programme will be piloted in the city in the school year 2016 -17 and will be expanded to other localities in the near future.

Ganesan Ampalavanar, managing director of Nestle Viet Nam, said: "We understand the seriousness of this project and are prepared to make our contribution, as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding."
