Nestle Milo has donated more than 2.5 million bottles of beverages to children around the country who are returning to school after a long time of studying online.
During the first week teachers at schools in HCM City delivered to around 150,000 students a gift set with a pack of four Milo 115ml drinks and medical masks.
The programme, called ‘Tiep nang luong tro lai truong’ (Energise students going back to school), also offers attractive promotions at supermarkets on February 19.
Parents unable to participate in the programme at supermarkets can register on Nestle Milo's website to receive a gift.
The programme marks Milo's second donation to children since the pandemic began. In May 2020 it donated over two million bottled drinks to induce students to return to schools.
With the epidemic under control, it will resume sponsorship of sports events to help develop an active and healthy generation of children. — VNS
