VIENTIANE, LAOS (Biz Hub) — The Muong Thanh Hotel Group, which runs 38 hotels in Viet Nam, officially launched on July 28 its first international hotel: the five-star Muong Thanh Luxury Vientiane Hotel in Laos.
The group said the 25-storey hotel offers 331 comfortable rooms and an 800-seat convention hall as well as four restaurants and bars, serving up to 500 visitors.
Located in the Vientiane capital centre, Muong Thanh Luxury Vientiane Hotel is one of the tallest buildings in Laos. It is close to the administrative offices of Laos and famous attractions, such as That Luang (Great Stupa), the Patuxay Monument, and the capital centre market.
The Group said the five-star hotel in Laos had set a milestone for its global brand promotion strategy.
According to the latest reports, the Muong Thanh Group is developing 50 hotel projects to provide 6,000 rooms in Viet Nam, which will account for 10 per cent of the country's tourist accommodation needs. — VNS
