Leading snack producer Mondelez Kinh Đô Vietnam has introduced its latest Kinh Đô mooncake collection, boasting 70 distinctive flavours and solidifying its position as a beloved brand among Vietnamese consumers.

The 2024 Kinh Đô mooncake line presents innovative offerings, including the premium Trăng Vàng Black and Gold inspired by royal heritage.

Adorned with intricate packaging depicting the Carp transforming into a Dragon, these mooncakes offer a luxurious experience with a delicate combination of exquisite seafood fillings such as premium Scallops with XO sauce, assorted crab, and shrimp.

Enhancements have been made to the vegetarian and diet mooncake selections, utilising 100 per cent premium natural plant-based ingredients and replacing 70 per cent of refined sugar with sugar substitutes.

Mondelez Kinh Đô has also made a commitment to environmentally friendly practices by using 100 per cent recyclable and reusable materials for all packaging, from shopping bags and mooncake boxes to plastic trays, in a bid to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.

Sharing his thoughts on the launch, Sameer Yadav, marketing director of Mondelez Kinh Đô Vietnam, expressed: "for over 25 years, Kinh Đô Mooncakes have been more than just a traditional delicacy on the tables of Vietnamese families, they have become a symbol of family bonds and togetherness. Driven by our mission to preserve the tradition and keep the stories alive, Kinh Đô is committed to delivering the highest quality mooncakes and offering a variety of meaningful and memorable Mid-Autumn experiences."

In a bid to preserve and celebrate traditional cultural values, Mondelez Kinh Đô Vietnam has initiated a collaboration with the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

This three-year partnership aims to promote cultural beauty, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year, while fostering an appreciation for traditional values.

Additionally, following the success of 2023, the "One-day-off for togetherness on Mid-Autumn Festival" campaign will continue with a multitude of meaningful activities. – VNS
