MM Mega Market won the Green Business 2023 Award organised by Sài Gòn Giải Phóng Newspaper and the HCMC Union of Business Association (HUBA) at the 4th HCMC Economic Forum (HEF 2023) on September 13.

The title aims to honor and appreciate leading enterprises in different industries for their eco-friendly and sustainable products, waste treatment initiatives, and sustainable development strategies towards green growth and a circular economy in Việt Nam.

Previously, in 2022, MM was also recognised by Enterprise Asia’s Asia Responsible Enterprise Award 2022 (AREA 2022) in the Green Leadership category. 

The Green Business 2023 award affirms MM Mega Market’s position as a pioneering wholesale retailer in Việt Nam, remaining steadfast in "greening" its logistic networks and distribution systems across the country.

From September 13 to 17, during GRECO 2023, MM’s Green Station will display the customised Automatic Recycling Station (ARS), which is a cooperation between MM Mega Market and Alta to inspire Vietnamese consumers to join hands together in the recycling process of plastic bottles and aluminum cans. 

From September 2023, an ARS will be put into operation at eight MM centers in HCM City and Hà Nội. — VNS
