HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Việt Nam Women's Union and Unilever Vietnam have unveiled a programme to support disadvantaged people in the disaster-hit centre region by gifting them a supply a daily necessities.
"Thuong Ve Mien Trung" (Towards Central Region) seeks to collect 50,000 gifts worth a total of VNĐ7.5 billion for people in the four provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, and Thua Thien – Hue.
Unilever announced it would contribute 20,000 of the gifts and has encouraged everyone to join, promising to contribute VND10,000 out of every VND30,000 customers spend on its products.
The gifts will be delivered next month. — VNS
