HA NOI (VNS) — The Mercedes Trophy 2014 North Final took place at the Heron Lake golf course on May 16.

More than 120 golfers are participating in the event.

This is the 12th consecutive year that the Mercedes Trophy has been played in Viet Nam. It is a platform for Mercedes-Benz customers and special guests who share a common passion for golf.

On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the tournament was held in Viet Nam instead of Stuttgart. The previous finalists from the past 25 years will get the chance to compete again for this 25th anniversary trophy.

Over 6,000 golfers participate annually in events sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Viet Nam. Two hundred Mercedes-Benz owners make it to the two finals held in North and South. Seven winners then advance to the Asian Finals in Australia.

The Mercedes Trophy is the world's largest corporate golf series, with over 60,000 golfers from 60 countries participating in it. — VNS
