American food and beverages are being introduced to Vietnamese consumers at MM Thang Long in Ha Noi and MM An Phu in HCM City from September 15-28, thanks to cooperation between MM Mega Market and the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).
The "Kham Pha My Vi Hoa Ky" promotion will introduce over 140 food and beverage products, including vegetables, fruits, beef, chicken, seafood, canned food, sauces, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages from a wide range of well-known US brands.
The event will also feature promotions, food samples, and giveaway gifts for MM customers. Customers who shop at one of the participating MM stores on weekends can participate in cooking demonstrations conducted by professional chefs, enjoy varied US food specialities, and learn about new tailor-made recipes.

"Over 27 years since the establishment of bilateral trade, the United States and Viet Nam have built a reliable, positive, and comprehensive relationship. The agricultural organisations in the two countries have effectively organised a wide range of cooperative activities, including United Tastes. The initiatives not only encourage trade activities and culinary exchanges but also strengthen and deepen the bilateral economic, cultural, and social relations of both countries," said Managing Director of MM Bruno Jousselin.
"Vietnamese consumer trends have changed significantly with a greater focus on food safety and purchasing healthier products at reliable supermarkets. As a leading retailer of food products, MM strongly appreciates this cooperation and commits to tightening bilateral relations between MM and other US enterprises to keep bringing high-quality US food and beverages to Vietnamese customers," added Jousselin.
MM Mega Market is one of Viet Nam's leading retailers for professional and household customers and offers a wide range of products. This partnership between USDA/FAS and MM will effectively promote high-quality, safe, nutritious, and healthy products imported from the US.

During the opening ceremony, representatives from over 20 major HORECA (hotel-restaurant-catering) organisations will join panels in Ha Noi and HCM City to share their cooking experiences and special recipes.
The promotion is part of the "United Tastes - My Vi Hoa Ky" campaign that FAS introduced in Viet Nam in 2021. "United Tastes" is exclusively designed for the Vietnam market to share US food and beverages with Vietnamese consumers and inspire Vietnamese customers to experience US culinary culture.
