Manulife Vietnam has been honoured as ‘Insurance Company of the Year’ at the 2022 Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards.

The awards honour the best in life insurance agency and advisory across Asia.

Manulife Vietnam advisor Tran Thi Hai Yen received the ‘Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year’ award for her agency production and recruitment, strong leadership qualities, professionalism, and services to the industry.

Another advisor, Nguyen Duc Duong, was a finalist in the ‘Rookie Insurance Agent of the Year’ category, while Manulife’s bancassurance partner Techombank won the ‘Bank Partner of the Year’ award.

The first foreign-owned life insurer in the country has 60,000 agents and led the market in terms of first-year premiums in the first half of 2022.

Given away by the Asia Advisers Network, Asia Insurance Review and LIMRA, the awards received more than 200 nominations from 12 markets across the region. — VNS
