Life insurer, Manulife Vietnam, on Thursday released that it has just been approved to increase chartered capital by the Ministry of Finance with the amended License No13/GPĐC22/KDBH dated December 25th, 2017.
Under the decision, the company has a new chartered capital of VND5.72 trillion (US$251 million), becoming the largest life insurer in Viet Nam in terms of chartered capital.
The company said that the capital increasing is a part of its longterm commitment to the Vietnamese market.
"The increase of charter capital is the foundation for Manulife to invest more strongly, bringing customers more effective solutions for financial management, health and other related matters in their daily life; as well as improving our service, developing advanced technology applications for customer experience,” said Paul Nguyen, Chief Executive Officer of Manulife Vietnam.
