The last week of the "Proud of Vietnamese goods 2018" promotion month falls on the National Day weekend, meaning the number of customers visiting and shopping at Saigon Co.op’s retail chains is expected to double from weekdays.
So Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets around the country will continue to run many attractive discount programmes to cater to people's shopping needs.
Under the programme "“Super sales, Vietnamese goods create differentiations,” nearly 50 products like condensed milk, cooking oil, detergent liquids, water filter, jackets, khaki pants, bed sheets and others will have their prices cut by VND25,000 and VND591,000 VND when customers fulfil billing conditions.
On Friday (August 31) Co.opmart 1.8L super fast kettle will be discounted by VND200,000 to VND299,000; SGC cotton blanket 1.8x2.2m from VND689,000 to VND379,000; and a 6kg bag of Co.opmart detergent with floral scent to only VND109,000d.

On Saturday (September 1) Aveza AVZ-20L water purifier will be reduced from VND579,000 to VND349,000; Fwrap R200-03x150m food wrap from VND108,500 to VND65,000; a 1.8x2m cotton bed sheet set from VND760,000 to VND419,000 and a Starline suitcase 6 discounted by VND591,000 to VND1.159 million.
On Sunday (September 2) the price of a 2L bottle of Neptune cooking oil will be reduced from VND92,400 to VND46,000; two 380g cans of Ong Tho green label condensed cream to only VND5,000 and a pack of six pet 390ml bottles of Coca Cola to VND2,000.
Co.opmart and Co.opXtra will also offer a 50 per cent discount on many other products, such as Bluestar NG-5190 double gas stove with glass cover; tourist gas stove Namilux 262PF / NH041PF; Tithafac 20cm stainless steel cookware with glass lid; Lock & Lock glass box; Beluga men's long jeans; Nhu Y elastic dress for children aged 4-12; pillow with pillow cover 40x60cm P119; and an AG57 1.6x2m cotton bed sheet set.
They will also sell gift baskets with Vietnamese fruits such as green skinned grapefruit, sweet mandarin, thick-skinned orange, mango, dragon fruit, pineapple, for displaying or gifting at prices ranging from VND350,000 to over VND600,000. — VNS
