A duty-free Lotte store opened at Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi on Sunday.

The store, backed by the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Lotte Duty Free company, covers a total area of 506 sq.m and offers perfumes, cosmetics, alcohol, cigarettes, food and items of at least 90 brands.

It also exclusively distributes products under 21 trademarks, including some from the RoK such as the History of Whoo.

Its revenue is expected to reach US$168 million in the next decade.

The store is the third in Viet Nam. The first one was launched at Da Nang International Airport in 2017, and the second one opened in Nha Trang last year.

The company said it plans to open another in downtown Da Nang and more in other tourist areas in Viet Nam.

Lotte Duty Free currently operates 21 stores in eight countries, including in the RoK. — VNS
