The South Korean heavy industries producer Doosan Vina, based in Quang Ngai, has been awarded the ‘Best Supplier in 2021’ certificate for its of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) boiler.
The certificate was granted by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering company after Doosan Vina completed the supply of boiler pressure parts for a WtE power plant in Fushimi, Kyoto, Japan.
Doosan Vina manufactured and supplied WtE boiler pressure parts for the Fushimi Kankyo Hozen project after signing an agreement with the Japanese buyer.
Doosan Vina has been converting boiler production technology for power plants using WtE technology and other advanced renewable 'green' technologies. The Fushimi WtE power plant was Doosan Vina's first project.
Doosan Vina General Director Jeong Yong Chil said the certificate brought further cooperation opportunities between Doosan Vina and other customers around the world for a clean and friendly environmental power industry.
“It also strongly affirms the position, production capacity and technical skills of Doosan Vina’s employees. We are very proud and always ready to make products of the best quality, raising quality of Vietnamese brand products to international level,” he said.
Doosan Vina said it has also been providing equipment, including boiler pressure and non-pressure parts, to the Sodegaura Biomass Power project, the largest biomass capacity firing plant in Chiba, Japan, another project in the Japanese market.
The mega infrastructure producer has overcome the difficulties of the COVID-19 to export locally made cargo of industrial equipment and components to Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and the domestic market. — VNS
