FWD Vietnam Life Insurance Company Ltd has launched "FWD cancer care", a new life insurance product and the first in Việt Nam to pay the entire sum assured for cancer diagnosis at any stage.

The company said it believes this new product would provide the necessary financial protection to enable people to live life to the fullest without fear and worry, even in the unfortunate event of developing cancer.

Anantharaman Sridharan, FWD’s general director, said: "FWD cancer care is very simple and provides maximum protection to customers. This new product provides an opportunity for people to manage their lives even in the event of cancer diagnosis.”

FWD cancer care has affordable premiums starting at a few hundred thousand đồng a year.

In addition to traditional distribution channels, the product will also be available on e-commerce website Tiki.vn.
