The Asia’s leading travel and leisure booking experiences platform, Klook, announced it will co-operate with Vietnamese partners to further promote Viet Nam to other markets.

These collaborations, Klook said, aimed to accelerate the recovery of inbound travel to Viet Nam by encouraging travelers in key inbound markets, namely South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and India, to discover the beauty of Viet Nam while booking the best local experiences through advanced technology and diversified selections to empower travelers to explore the world.

Accordingly, Klook ties up with VinWonders and Sun World to accelerate the recovery of inbound travel to Viet Nam further in 2023 by enhancing the awareness of Viet Nam in general and VinWonders and Sun World attractions in particular.

Klook is the first online travel application to partner with VinWonders and Sun World on such inbound marketing initiatives.

Under the agreement with VinWonders, the partnership encompasses developing and curating inspirational content while launching digital demand generation campaigns across Klook's India and South Korea channels, showcasing Viet Nam and VinWonders experiences to more of Klook's global user base.

The partnership with Sun World entails developing promotional content on Viet Nam and Sun World attractions while launching digital marketing campaigns across Klook's regional channels, showcasing Viet Nam and Sun World experiences to more of Klook's global user base.

Michelle Ho, general manager of Viet Nam, Thailand & the Philippines, predicts that 2023 will be a stronger year for Viet Nam's inbound tourism.

“Despite the looming global recession, many international travellers are making plans to visit Viet Nam in 2023, promising a booming year for the tourism market,” she said.

According to Klook's Travelsilence study, 81 per cent of Asian travelers are still eager to travel internationally in 2023, and many of them are making Viet Nam their next destination.

Data from Google Destination insights showed that Viet Nam is one of the fastest growing destinations globally with more than 75 per cent growth, and the country ranked fourth in growth. With Viet Nam expecting to welcome eight million international travelers in 2023, twice as many as in 2022, the strategic partnerships will enable Viet Nam, and partners in particular, to reach wider and further, capitalising on more of the rising demand through Klook's integrated channels. — VNS
