The Kita Invest JSC under Kita Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Stella Icon luxury apartment project in Bình Thủy ward, Bình Thủy district, Cần Thơ city on August 3.
The luxury apartment project is located in Kita Airport City, a new brand name to replace the old 'Stella Mega City'.
Stella Icon has a total investment of about VNĐ440 billion (US$18.15 million). It is expected to be completed and handed over in the first quarter of 2026.
The project has a scale of 6,026 square metres with a construction density of only 37.25 per cent, including one 18-floor tower block, providing the market with 294 long-term ownership apartments and 15 shophouses in the base block.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Dương Tấn Hiển, Permanent Vice Chairman of Cần Thơ City People's Committee, said that regarding the construction location, the apartment project is located in a residential area that is gradually developing due to its advantages in terms of transportation, tourism, culture, administrative offices, schools and hospitals.
In total an urban area of more than 150 hectares invested by Kita Group, the site will be an attractive option for the region offering civilised and modern space for urban residents, elevating the development orientation and contributing to the socio-economic development of the city. — VNS
