Savills announced that it has brokered an 8,549sq.m factory lease between J. Wagner and Sepzone-Linh Trung at Linh Trung I Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Thu Duc City of HCM City.
J. Wagner GmbH (Germany) is a subsidiary of Wagner Group, an international manufacturer of equipment and systems for the application of powder and liquid coatings, paints, and other liquid materials. Its products, technologies and solutions are used in home improvement, commercial painting, and industrial finishing.
The deal emphasises the company’s expansion plans in Southeast Asia.
Linh Trung I EPZ is a joint venture between China Electricity Import-Export Co., Ltd. and Viet Nam’s Tan Thuan Industrial Development One Member Limited Liability Company. Linh Trung I EPZ is in the northeast of HCM City in Thu Duc City.
The project caters to manufacturing, assembly, logistics, e-commerce, and high-value-added tenants looking for multi-level factories.
“We carefully explored the industrial markets in Thailand, Malaysia, and Viet Nam for our new plant. We ultimately selected Viet Nam because of its sustainable economic growth. Sepzone Linh Trung delivers high-quality infrastructure and a prime location only 20 minutes from downtown and the airport,” said Frederic Biondi, general manager at J. Wagner.
Sepzone Linh Trung is working on attracting diverse and modern tenants at Linh Trung I EPZ. It targets high-tech industries and is suited to companies specialising in innovative coating technology. — VNS
