The InterContinental® Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort on Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province won three highly coveted awards at the World Travel Awards 2018 event held in Lisbon, Portugal on December 2.
The resort was named the World's Leading New Family Resort, World's Leading New Luxury Resort and World's Leading New MICE Resort.
One of the most prestigious travel and tourism events of the year, the World Travel Awards was launched in 1993 to acknowledge excellence in the travel and tourism industry.
Proclaimed the "travel industry's equivalent to the Oscar's" by the Wall Street Journal, the awards are voted on by travel and tourism professionals and consumers across the globe.
