HCM CITY (VNS)— Singapore giant retailer NTUC FairPrice and Saigon Co.op last Saturday received a license to set up a joint venture to open two chains of hypermarkets in the country.
The joint venture will operate the chains throughout the country under the Co.opXtra and Co.opXtra Plus brands.
The first Co.opXtra Plus hypermarket in HCM City's Thu Duc District is expected to be operational by mid-May. — VNS
