HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Giant steel marker Hoa Sen Group (HSG) has posted revenue of VND13.5 trillion (US$622 million) for the first nine months of fiscal year 2014-15, reaching 82 per cent of its annual target.
The after-tax profit during this period stood at VND484 billion ($23 million), exceeding over 7 per cent compared with the annual plan target.
In the nine month period, HSG sold nearly 772,000 tonnes of steel products. Of these, 321,000 tonnes were exported, representing over 95 per cent of the target.
The 2014-2015 fiscal year of HSG runs from October 2014 to the end of September 2015. — VNS
