The AKYN Hospitality Group has signed an agreement with Marriott International to bring the “Courtyard by Marriott” brand to Quy Nhon, an up-and-coming coastal destination on Vietnam’s south-central coast.

Courtyard by Marriott Quy Nhon will serve as a key component of a new mixed-use-development in the heart coastal town, just a two-minute walk from the beach and 45 minute drive from the Phu Cat Airport, which hosts direct domestic connections across Vietnam as well as seasonal international charters.

Invested by AKYN Hospitality, construction on Courtyard by Marriott Quy Nhon will begin Monday, June 6. The hotel will have 362 guestrooms and suites with breathtaking, unobstructed ocean views. It will also offer three dining outlets including an all-day-dining restaurant with an open kitchen, a café and a lobby lounge. Other facilities will include wellness and function facilities including a large ballroom, a well-equipped fitness centre, an outdoor pool, spa & sauna and a kid’s play area.

For business executives, the property will offer The Residence, a highly flexible area adapted to a variety of different functions. With a large open plan, the inviting space will feature working zones, meeting rooms, seating clusters and personal booths and a F&B counter to maximize productivity.

Surrounded by local offices, attractions and industrial parks, the hotel is expected to become a new ideal destination for corporate and leisure business travellers after it opens in early 2025.

“By working with the world’s largest hotel group, we know our hotel will meet and exceed the highest levels of quality and service for every guest,” said Tiffany Nguyen Thi Minh Thu, CEO of the AKYN Hospitality Group.— VNS
