Home Credit was honoured among the Top 100 sustainable businesses in Viet Nam in 2022 by the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Programme 2022.

The award affirms Home Credit's sustainability strategy and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy in Viet Nam, helping to strengthen the company’s relationships with its customers, communities, employees, and other stakeholders.

The Corporate Sustainability Index Programme is an award organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. The award honours pioneering enterprises that practice sustainability across all their business activities regarding the economy, society, and the environment.

“Driven by our promise to make customers feel good and our nature as a market pioneer, we’ve always pushed ourselves to adapt quickly to the fast-paced business environment. The pandemic is a clear example of our agility – and our ability to drive digital innovation in a way that benefits customers,” said Anastasia Fokina, Home Credit Vietnam’s Chief Operations and Digital Transformation Officer.

Home Credit's ESG principles include six pillars: Responsible Finance, Economic Growth, Digital Empowerment, Financial Inclusion, Sustainable Communities, and Diverse Workforce. 2022 has seen Home Credit moving forward in its journey to expand sustainability activities by strengthening the database of ESG performance indicators, promoting financial literacy and digital empowerment activities through its newly launched buy now, pay later product - Home PayLater.

Home Credit is also one of the few consumer finance companies in Viet Nam to become a member of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD – VCCI). — VNS
