HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vietnamese healthcare provider Hoan My Medical Corporation announced on March 17 that it had bought a controlling stake in Vinh International Hospital in the central province of Nghe An.
"This has increased Hoan My Corp's facilities to seven hospitals and one clinic, from the north to the south," Huynh Le Duc, general director of Hoan My Medical Corporation, said.
Hoan My Medical Corporation's facilities are located in HCM City, Can Tho, Ca Mau, Da Nang, Đa Lat, Dong Nai, and Nghe An.
With more than 1,900 beds, the hospitals provide treatment to about 1.5 million people a year.
The 34,000sq.m seven-story Vinh International Hospital opened last August, with an investment of VNĐ800 billion (US$35.8 million). The hospital has 500 beds in both inpatient and outpatient wards, all of which meet international standards, serving 800 to 1,000 patients a day. — VNS
