NGHE AN (Biz Hub) — The Hoa Sen Nghe An Joint Stock Company today inaugurated a new production line using non-oxidising furnace technology at the Dong Hoi Industrial Zone in the central province of Nghe An.
With a capacity of 400,000 tonnes per year, this is the most advanced technology used in any ASEAN member country.
The aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel sheets and galvanised steel sheets match standards in the US, Japan, Australia, and the EU.
After one year of construction the first phase has been finished, and the other production lines in this phase will be put into operation later this month.
Work on the second phase with five lines has begun, and it is expected to go on stream next year. — VNS
