Hòa Bình joins forces with PrimeTech Constructions for $1.8b resort project in Vanuatu
Hòa Bình Construction Group has signed a strategic cooperative agreement with Australia’s PrimeTech Constructions Pty Ltd to jointly execute the design and construction of a resort complex worth $1.8 billion in the island nation of Vanuatu.
Hòa Bình Construction Group has signed a strategic cooperative agreement with Australia’s PrimeTech Constructions Pty Ltd to jointly execute the design and construction of Matevulu Sands Hotel and Resorts situated in the island nation of Vanuatu.
This project, initiated by Matevulu Sands Limited, constitutes a multifaceted complex comprising a commercial centre, a hotel and a resort block worth AU$2.7 billion (US$1.73 billion).
A representative from PrimeTech Constructions has revealed that the groundbreaking ceremony is slated for November 2023 and will not extend beyond the second quarter of 2024.
Within this framework, Hoa Binh Construction shall assume the role of general contractor for designing and constructing components valued at around AU$1.35 billion. The project is slated to be implemented in three phases spanning within an eight-year timeline.
The project in Vanuatu will mark the beginning of this strategic cooperation between the two companies. Additionally, HBC collaborates with PrimeTech Construction on a number of large-scale projects, including four upcoming projects in Australia. — VNS
