Grab Vietnam is continuing to expand its cloud kitchen network in Viet Nam with the new GrabKitchen located in the Trung Son residential area in HCM City's Binh Chanh District.

The establishment of GrabKitchen Trung Son not only marks the one-year milestone of Grab pioneering the cloud kitchen model in Viet Nam, but also makes Grab the platform with the largest cloud kitchen network in the country, with three GrabKitchens located in Thu Duc District, Binh Thanh District and Binh Chanh District.

On this occasion, Grab has also announced that it will continue promoting the development of online food delivery services by focusing on disseminating knowledge and raising food safety and hygiene standards to meet the needs of the market in the new normal.

To mark this significant milestone, Grab is giving 7,400 free meals to Grab driver-partners at all threeGrabKitchens from now until the end of December. After this time, GrabKitchen will continue to establish more incentive programmes for all Grab’s driver-partners when they order food at GrabKitchen.

“According to statistics, the online food delivery market in Viet Nam is projected to reach a turnover of up to US$302 million in 2020 and is expected to reach $557 million by 2024. Our continued expansion of GrabKitchen and increased investment in food safety and hygiene will help us better capture new opportunities in the ever-changing market landscape, and become an effective platform to support driver-partners and merchant-partners overcome difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic and better serve the needs of users,” said Nguyen Thai Hai Van, managing director of Grab Vietnam.

Garb is expanding the cloud kitchen model to bring long-term benefits to all stakeholders in the Grab ecosystem.

GrabKitchen Trung Son has gathered 14 merchant-partners favoured by local people in residential areas.

As of mid-October, Grab had the largest cloud kitchen network in Southeast Asia with 57 GrabKitchen in five countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Viet Nam, Singapore and the Philippines.
