HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Grab users travelling to the US from Southeast Asia, including Viet Nam, can now book rides in more than 200 US cities where Lyft operates, Grab has announced.

With the Lyft integration in the Grab app complete, Lyft users will also enjoy the same function in Grab's market which includes 30 cities in six countries in ASEAN in the coming weeks.

The integration is part of a global ride-share agreement between China-based Didi Chuxing, Grab, Lyft and India-based Ola, announced in December last year. 

"This partnership with Lyft is another step to enable seamless international travel, and it combines the strength and reach of our companies to cross-share learning and leverage the best services in each local market for the benefit of our users," said Grab co-founder Tan Hooi Ling. — VNS
