The Central Retail Vietnam Group has completed the construction of the GO! Lao Cai shopping mall on Thursday after a year of construction.
The mall is located in the Urban Sub-Area No. 13, Tran Hung Dao Boulevard, in Lao Cai City.
It is a significant building coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.
Dang Xuan Phong, a member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, said: “GO! Lao Cai shopping centre is one of the main projects attracting foreign direct investment in Lao Cai Province. This event has many meanings, marking a new development in attracting investment in the trading-services field .”
GO! Lao Cai has two floors, one basement and a floor area of nearly 30,000 m2, consisting of a hypermarket, stalls, rental booths, food service areas, amusement parks and cinemas with a total investment of over VND300 billion (US$13 million). This is the 39th shopping mall of Central Retail Group in Viet Nam.
Currently, GO! Lao Cai is in the final stages of finishing and attracting business partners who are looking for business opportunities in Lao Cai. The project is expected to be officially put into operation at the end of April 2022. — VNS
