Chung Ba Phuong

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Generali Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd. has appointed Chung Ba Phuong as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Phuong takes over from Simon Lam, who was responsible for building Generali Group's business in Vietnam, and has moved to take the position of Chief Executive Officer of Generali Insurance Thailand.

Phuong has over two decades of experience in the financial services sector. Phuong holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Manitoba and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries of India and the Society of Actuaries.

Generali Vietnam Life Insurance Limited Liability Company (Generali Vietnam) was granted the operation license on April 20th 2011 by the Vietnam Ministry of Finance. — VNS
