QUY NHON (Biz Hub) — GE Healthcare unveiled its new Carestation 600 Series, an affordable suite of anaesthesia solutions, at the 2016 Viet Nam Anaesthesiology Association Congress in Quy Nhon on Thursday.

It comprises two machines, both of which balance user interface design with intelligent tools to help physicians prevent misuse and medical errors in the operating room.

The machines package and connect monitoring devices, innovative parameters and advanced ventilation tools into a single integrated system.

They combine second-generation digital touchscreen technology with familiar tactile controls.

"This is the first time we have such great integrated anesthesia solutions in Viet Nam; it is good news for not only our anesthetists but also the patients," Assoc Prof Dr Cong Quyet Thang, chairman of the Viet Nam Anaesthesiology Association, said.

"It helps control anaesthesia in the most effective way with a full range of indicators provided." — VNS
