GE Digital has announced a new agreement with Bamboo Airways that will help the airline enhance its fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

The agreement will see Bamboo Airways adopt GE Digital’s Fuel Insight and FlightPulse, two market-proven software solutions that are designed to provide insights that airlines can use to reduce fuel costs and optimise operations.

Fuel Insight is a robust solution designed with advanced algorithms and data analytics to provide insights that airlines can use to optimise fuel consumption. By providing real-time visibility into fuel usage, Fuel Insight enables airlines to identify inefficiencies and take action to improve fuel efficiency.

FlightPulse is engineered to provide a personalised and automated analytics solution designed for pilots, by pilots. It is designed to provide timely insights into fuel usage and enable pilots to make more data-driven decisions that can improve fuel efficiency and reduce costs.

"We are thrilled to partner with Bamboo Airways and provide them with our fuel analytics solutions," said Frank Siegers, Asia-Pacific and China General Manager, Aviation Software, GE Digital.

"With Fuel Insight and FlightPulse, Bamboo Airways will be able to optimise fuel consumption, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency as they continue their expansion with new aircraft and new routes, while also reducing their carbon footprint,” he said.

"Bamboo Airways is committed to reducing our environmental footprint and delivering a superior customer experience. By partnering with GE Digital, we now can access a detailed level of integrated data with accuracy and speed on a per pilot and per aircraft level, leverage their expertise and robust technology to achieve these goals, and drive sustainable growth for our airline," said Captain Tran Duc Luyen, deputy director of Flight Operations Unit of Bamboo Airways. — VNS
