HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — FrieslandCampina Viet Nam's Dutch Lady brand has built an 800-sq.m milk bottle that will be used at Family Farm festival on April 15-19 in HCM City. The mock up of the giant milk bottle is the largest ever recorded by the Guinness Viet Nam Record Association.

Inside the bottle is a Dutch miniature farm with rolling grasslands, healthy cows and industrious milk farmers.

Interesting activities for family members will be on offer at Happy Holland Village and Family Playground at the festival.

The event organised by Dutch Lady brand is a special occasion to welcome the new packaging of Dutch Lady ready-to-drink dairy products, including fortified milk Dutch Lady 20+, Dutch Lady fresh milk boxes and milk packs.

By implementing the Dairy Development programme since 1995 with total investment up to US$20 million, FrieslandCampina Viet Nam wants to contribute to sustainable dairy farming.

The programme has been an effective business model for creating shared values, promoting agricultural economic development, creating job opportunities, and helping farmers to improve their incomes from breeding cows.

At least 340 tonnes of fresh milk are purchased daily directly from 5,000 farmers, with total purchased fresh milk up to 104 million kg in 2014. The purchased milk quantity has increased 10 to 15 per cent annually. — VNS
