FPT recently opened its 17th office in Japan, located in the Mita district of the Minatoku area, one of the most luxurious and expensive areas in Tokyo, and home to large corporations such as NEC Global and KCCS.
This office also serves as the new headquarters of FPT in Japan (FPT Japan), spanning 3,000 square meters and accommodating over 500 employees.
At the opening ceremony, Đỗ Văn Khắc, Deputy General Director of FPT Software and CEO of FPT Japan, emphasized the company's goal to continuously enhance its technological capabilities and strengthen relationships with customers to expand opportunities for comprehensive projects and cooperation with Japanese businesses. He highlighted the importance of human resources as FPT Japan's most valuable asset and stated that the new office exemplifies their commitment to creating an ideal working environment for all employees.
With 20 years of operation in the Japanese market, FPT has become one of the largest foreign-invested technology companies in Japan in terms of human resources. FPT Japan currently employs over 3,500 people across 17 offices and development centers in Japan and nearly 15,000 global experts specializing in the Japanese market.
They provide digital services and solutions to more than 450 customers worldwide. FPT Japan aims to grow its workforce in Japan to 5,000 employees by the end of 2025 and achieve its first billion US dollar revenue by 2027.
FPT Japan is a member of the Federation of Japanese Economic Organizations (Keidanren) and has recently, together with other Vietnamese IT businesses in Japan, established the Vietnam - Japan Digital Transformation Association (VADX Japan). VADX Japan is expected to become a strategic bridge, promoting cooperation and development between the two countries in digital technology and accelerating the digital transformation process to contribute to sustainable economic and social development.
Globally, FPT is present in 30 countries and territories, promoting digital transformation and applying new technology for over 1,000 global customers, including nearly 100 customers from the Fortune Global 500 list.
The company operates in various fields such as aerospace, energy, automotive, retail, finance and banking, healthcare, and e-commerce. In 2023, FPT surpassed the milestone of $1 billion in IT services revenue. — VNS
