FPT, Viet Nam’s largest ICT, was honoured seven times in the Top 10 companies at the Vietnam Gold Star Awards 2021, which was held last week in Ha Noi.

By the end of 2021, FPT’s equity rose by 44.9 per cent compared to early 2019, reaching VND21.4 trillion.

FPT ranked among the top 20 businesses, with a market capitalisation of VND84.4 trillion (US$3.6 billion) at the end of 2021, three times higher than in 2018.

According to the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the 200 best businesses selected from 31 sectors were honoured with the Vietnam Gold Star Award 2021.

Apart from FPT, businesses ranked in the Top 10 were Viettel Post; Sacombank, Vinaconex, Viet Tien, Minh Phu Seafood Corp, ATAD, Thien Long, Hung Thinh, and KSB – BIMICO.

The top 10 businesses honoured at the ceremony achieved a revenue of more than VND554 trillion, contributing more than VND9 trillion to the State budget and creating jobs for more than 107,000 people.

Launched in 2003, the Award, organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, honours enterprises that have achieved good business performance and sustainable development and undertaken good social responsibility. — VNS
