FPT Corporation welcomed a remarkable 80,013 employees globally, marking a significant milestone in celebration of its 36th anniversary from September 9 to 11, 2024. This event underscores the group's growth and international expansion.

The honor of being FPT's 80,000th employee goes to Matsuyama Yutaro, a Consultant at FPT Japan. Matsuyama holds a degree from Keio University, one of Japan's premier institutions. He chose FPT for its positive work environment and opportunities for professional development.

FPT also welcomed 12 new employees (numbers 80,001 to 80,013) across various sectors including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, education, and digital content. Notably, Phan Trần Minh Uyên, employee 80,013 and a semiconductor R&D specialist at FPT Semiconductor, is part of Việt Nam's booming semiconductor industry, which is attracting significant international investment. FPT has over a decade of experience in semiconductor research and development and plans to enhance recruitment in this sector.

Nguyễn Văn Khoa, General Director of FPT Corporation, emphasised the importance of people in the company’s strategies, stating, “FPT always puts people at the center of all activities and development strategies.” He highlighted the company’s commitment to diversity, with employees from over 30 cultures and 78 nationalities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous development.

FPT currently operates with over 80,013 employees across 30 countries, with an average staff age of 28. The company reported impressive financial results for the first eight months of 2024, achieving VNĐ39.6 trillion (US$1.55 billion) in revenue and a pre-tax profit of over VNĐ7 trillion, marking a year-on-year growth of nearly 20 per cent. — VNS
