UK manufacturer and distributor of industrial components Essentra Components said it will expand its distribution system in Việt Nam to better serve customers in the Vietnamese market.
The strategic move, the company said, aligns with the ongoing trend of global supply chain relocation, as major multinational corporations increasingly select Việt Nam as a preferred destination for investment and production.
“With more manufacturers moving into new territories as they look to diversify and become less reliant on one area, they need partners that can move with them and continue to offer the same level of service they’re accustomed to,” said Scott Fawcett, CEO of Essentra Components.
“Our expansion into Việt Nam is a solution to that very problem and will give our customers the reassurance that service can continue without interruption, whilst being provided the level of service and support they expect,” he said.
Indeed, Essentra Components has established a presence in Việt Nam since 2022 while making a deliberate decision to select the country as a strategic destination within its supply chain.
Essentra Components said that entering the Vietnamese market opens up opportunities to engage with potential customers in the thriving Asia-Pacific region, and attract investments from leading manufacturing giants worldwide.
Maynard Mckeagan, Commercial Director of Essentra Components in Asia Pacific, said that expanding in Việt Nam, one of the fastest-growing markets in Asia, is an extraordinary opportunity that cannot be overlooked.
