HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Emirates airline on January 8 announced the upgrade of its passenger services between Dubai and HCM City to a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

With this up-gauge, the new aircraft has 42 seats in Business Class and 386 generously sized Economy Class seats, increasing capacity by up to 30 per cent.

"Since Emirates started services to HCM City in 2012, we have played a significant role in bringing tourists and business travellers from all over the world to Viet Nam, and connecting Viet Nam with our expanding global network.

"We have also witnessed a consistent high demand on this route, so this prompt up-gauge ensures that we are able to continuously satisfy and delight our customers, especially during peak holiday and festive seasons," said Mohammad Sarhan, Emirates' Country Manager in Viet Nam.

Emirates offers an unparalleled on-board service from international cabin crew who come from 130 nationalities and speak more than 60 languages, including Vietnamese.

The Emirates' flight departs Dubai at 9:40am and arrives in HCM City at 7:40pm. The return flight departs at 11:55pm and arrives in Dubai at 4:50 am the next day.

Through its Dubai hub, passengers travelling from Viet Nam can seamlessly connect to Emirates' vast network of destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America and South Asia.

Emirates is the world's largest operator of Boeing 777 and Airbus 380 aircraft. The airline's young and environmentally friendly fleet contains all wide-body aircraft, including 112 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in service. — VNS
