Eaton, a global power management company, on Thursday announced that it has signed four new partnership agreements for the distribution of its Circuit Protection and Control (CPC) and Power Distribution (PD) products in Viet Nam.

The authorised distributors that have been appointed as of this year include: Advanced Information Technologies Corporation (AIT CORP), Nam Phuong Viet Technology Joint Stock Company (NPV Technology JSC), Dat Vinh Tien Company Limited (Dat Vinh Tien) and Saigon Electric Co., Ltd. (SGE).

“Every minute of downtime could mean a loss in revenue and potential safety implications, especially in the industrial and commercial sectors,” said Gary Ang, Country Manager, Eaton Vietnam. “The strong networks and expertise of our partners will be most valuable as we work hand-in-hand to help make digitalisation work and support Viet Nam’s growing power needs.”

The details of the new partnerships are as follows: AIT CORP, Dat Vinh Tien have been appointed as official xEnergy licensees, and will be able to provide customers with access to Eaton’s team of experts, support and the latest technology required to build high-performance, design-verified, LV motor control and power distribution systems.

NPV Technology JSC will be offering Eaton’s modern low-voltage (LV) switchgear products to its end-users and network of distributions and dealerships. These include the electricity protection solution such as air circuit breakers (ACBs), molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs), miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs/RCBOs), contactors, relays, indicator light, switches, etc.

Saigon Electric, one of the leading distributors for mid-voltage power equipment in South Vietnam, will be offering Eaton’s power distribution and control assemblies to help customers enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of their electrical systems.

These announcements build on Eaton’s momentum in the Viet Nam market, having announced a partnership with Elite JSC as the authorised distributor of Eaton’s DPQ and CPS solutions last month. This partnership will enhance its presence in the Vietnamese market as a contributor to the country’s digital transformation and Industry 4.0 ambitions. — VNS
