The Dutch Lady brand of dairy products owned by FrieslandCampina on Wednesday launched a promotion programme called Dinh duong yeu thuong, chung tay chia se (Loved Nutrients, Join to Share) to share difficulties with customers.
The programme, to last until April 14, will sell 180ml Dutch Lady fresh milk packs at a discounted price of VND5,000 (US$0.2) at most supermarkets around the country except CoopMart, Aeon, Mega, 7-Eleven, and GS25.
On e-commerce platforms Lazada and Tiki, customers will get free shipping when buying Dutch Lady, Yomost and Fristi nutritious drinks.
Ta Thuy Ha, director of consumer dairy at FrieslandCampina Viet Nam, said the programme aims to help consumers.
“When we are carrying out social distancing, having essential goods every day is necessary for maintaining health. Milk plays an important role in families, especially children, maintaining good health and immunity against diseases.
“We are proud to be in the vanguard of fundraising programmes by the Government and Ministry of Health for supporting health workers and others who work on the frontlines against COVID-19 and people living in areas where the disease has broken out.”
FrieslandCampina has donated milk and cash worth VND2 billion (US$85,450) to the Government’s campaign to fight the epidemic.
This is the second time the company is donating to the fight against the epidemic. The first time it had donated milk and soap worth VND500 million to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases and a quarantine area in Vinh Phuc Province.
It will continue to donate to the cause.
With the increasing incidence of COVID-19 and the negative impact of the disease on people’s lives, the Government has taken efforts to fight the disease and protect people’s health.
As a leading dairy company in the world and with a mission to supply nutrients to people globally, Dutch Lady has joined the Government in this fight.
In Viet Nam, COVID-19 has affected people’s health and livelihoods, with many losing jobs. VNS
