Thống Nhất Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Block CC5 social housing project to serve workers under the housing development project at Bầu Xéo Industrial Park Service Centre, Trảng Bom District, Đồng Nai Province, on Monday.

Construction of Block CC5 was started with a scale of 98 apartments with a value of nearly VNĐ30 billion to serve low-income workers.

This is an apartment block belonging to the housing development project at Bầu Xéo Industrial Park Service Centre with a total area of more than 2,000 hectares with a scale of 624 apartments, including six blocks.

Of which, one block with 107 apartments has been currently completed and put into use.

Nguyễn Hoàng Dũng, general director of Thống Nhất Joint Stock Company, said that the demand for housing in Đồng Nai Province was currently very large while many workers are not afford a house to stabilise life, especially low-income workers.

When the social housing project was completed and put into use, it would meet the housing needs for thousands of workers living and working in Trảng Bom District, said Dũng. — VNS
